• Who is The Shortlist for?

For those who want to bring home international awards or those who want an industry sense-check from experienced award winners.

  • What The Shortlist is not?

The Shortlist is NOT, we repeat, NOT an award.

It’s simple.

a) Agencies or advertising professionals send entries for evaluation.

b) A consortium of world-class experts & global award winners evaluate the entries.

c) The entries are then graded as follows:

– No chance of winning awards or being shortlisted

– Reasonable chance of being shortlisted or being awarded

– High chance of being shortlisted or being awarded

  • How does The Shortlist work?

  • What do I get?

An independent, third-party evaluation of your work’s chances at global award shows. If the work has a “Reasonable” or a “High Chance” of being shortlisted, or being awarded, then our panel of experts will also help you identify the correct categories to enter, and how the narrative can be improved for presenting to a world-class jury.

This year, Kyoorius will also provide a grant of INR 50,000* to entries that are deemed to have a “High Chance” of winning a global award by the audit process.

  • What is the INR 50,000 about?

ZEE and Kyoorius believe in The Shortlist and its potential to help you, dear entrant. And so, it’s time to put the money where the mouth is.

This year, Kyoorius will also provide a grant of INR 50,000* to entries that are deemed to have a “High Chance” of winning a global award by the audit process.

*The INR 50,000 will be given against a valid proof of submitting the same entry to a global award show. Entrants can use the INR 50,000 to offset their entry fees to the global award show, or use it to develop and produce their entry materials.

  • Who evaluates The Shortlist?

As a long-standing propeller of the advertising world, Kyoorius has a network of really talented people. Be it the Kyoorius Creative Awards, the Kyoorius Design Awards, or The Shortlist, our evaluators are industry leading experts that believe in our process and are excited to be a part of the Kyoorius community.   • Are The Shortlist’s evaluations made public?

NO. Never.

The entries and grading are the best-kept secrets since Victoria’s. Agencies and professionals that submit entries to The Shortlist will receive CONFIDENTIAL grading. There will be no agency/client ranking, award, or public event. The evaluation will be practically whispered into your ear.

  • How does The Shortlist benefit you?

The Shortlist is the best thing that has happened to you since advertising. It helps agencies, senior management, and junior talent decide on which entries to focus their energies (and money), and which entries stand out globally.

  • What is the cost of each entry?

Here’s the best part. Entering into The Shortlist costs NOTHING.

All the entries to The Shortlist are sponsored by ZEE this year, to strengthen their commitment to helping South East Asia create a dent in the world of global advertising.

  • What are the key dates?

Entries open 4 December 2023.

Entries close 7 February 2024.

Results will be with you by 20 February 2024.

Giving you ample time to edit your entries to D&AD, The One Show and the ADC Awards, and gives you a good head start for the Cannes Lions.

  • What do I need to know before entering The Shortlist?

It’s not complicated. Each of your entries is evaluated on its own merit.

Each entry to The Shortlist can have up to 5 elements - images, PDFs, videos, or audio.

All entries to The Shortlist should follow the eligibility rules of the awards that particular phase of The Shortlist seeks to address.
So, entries should adhere to the eligibility rules for D&AD, The One Show, ADC Awards and the Cannes Lions.
